Bakurani is the map to learn first. Snow-capped peaks run down into a valley with a hill town, apartments and a factory on the flats, and forested ridges climb steeply on both sides. The callouts are the tightest in the game and the landmarks are easy to read, so it is the quickest map to get comfortable on.
Ridges and open fields reward rifles and DMRs over SMGs.
The 2 x 2 km zone moves between these each match.
Groups of callouts that belong together. Listed below.
The zone is placed at random each match, but only in one of these areas.
The usual starting position, on the valley floor near the towers.
Sunflower fields and the church. Wide open ground between the buildings.
Timber yard and the lumber hills. More cover than the farmland.
The names the game uses for control zones, grouped by area. Use them for callouts.
Where most matches start and most fights happen.
Open fields with long sightlines. Easy to get caught crossing them.
Stacked timber and sheds, the most cover outside town.
Hillsides and ridges that look down on the valley.
Useful for callouts and as sniper positions.
What we don't know yetSources disagree on how many towers the map has and which side of the valley the lumberyard is on, so we leave both out.
A wooded river basin around a dense town, with a football stadium, a church on the hill and farmland along the roads. The Control Zone rotates between four positions.
An industrial city on a river bend: warehouses, rail yards and docks in the core, farmland and forest around it.
