Patch 0.11

A server browser overhaul that puts community servers front and centre, more cash exploit fixes and hard rules on economy abuse. Servers went down for about an hour on 14 September at 08:00 UTC to install it.

Server browser

  • Split into two browsers, Official and Community.
  • Filters removed from the Official browser, and made more reliable for Community servers.
  • Text search for Community servers.
  • Community server IDs now stay the same between matches and restarts, so you can join by ID.
  • Show empty and show full toggles added to the quick bar.
  • Server names are now sorted alphabetically regardless of special characters, and can no longer contain double spaces.
  • Community servers paid a 5% bonus on end of match cash for one week, as an apology.

Fixes

  • Various cash exploits fixed.
  • More GPU crashes fixed.
  • More server capacity in Asia.

Economy abuse rules

  • Abusing cash exploits: a timed ban, and your cash and XP reset to 0.
  • Making content that teaches economy exploits: a permanent ban.
  • Joining XP farming servers for more than a few minutes: a permanent ban.

Coming later

  • Favourite community servers, tiered priority queues, a message of the day, better warmup, AFK kick controls during seeding and team switching controls.

Season 1 changelog

The changes from the beta to the early access launch. The big one: leveling is much slower from level 10 to 20, FOBs cost three times as much, and a lot of unlocks moved.

Leveling

  • Levels 10 to 20 slowed down, with the curve flattening from level 35. Bulkhead's aim: the median player is around level 20 after 20 to 25 hours.

  • Each season gets its own XP curve and its own item order.
  • Player kills with an air vehicle: 300 XP to 250 XP.
  • Selling a supply crate item worth under $75: 25 XP to 1 XP.
