Is the M500 good?
The M500 is D tier on our tier list and ranks 2 of 2 shotguns on time to kill through level 2 armor.
With standard ammo it takes 4 shots to the chest to kill an unarmored player (1500 ms), 7 through level 2 armor (3000 ms) and 11 through level 4 (5000 ms).
The right ammo changes that: hollow point rounds kill an unarmored player in 2 shots, armor piercing cuts level 2 armor to 6 and level 4 to 8 shots (3500 ms).
Legs are never armored, so 4 shots to the upper leg kill even a level 4 player with hollow point ammo.
