Shots to kill
Pick a weapon and ammo, what the target is wearing and where you hit. Armor only protects the zones it covers, so a leg shot ignores it completely.
How armor works
Body armor and helmets block 30, 40, 55 or 65 percent of the damage for level 1 to 4. It only applies where the plate sits: body armor covers the torso, level 4 also covers the upper arms, and helmets cover the head. Legs are never covered.
Ammo changes both sides. Armor piercing does about a fifth less on flesh but loses much less to a plate. Hollow points double the damage on flesh, but armor stops most of it, so they only pay off on legs or unarmored targets. Which ammo to use →
Every player has 100 HP. Where you hit also matters. A head shot with an assault rifle does 2.35 times the base damage, a leg shot about half.
What this leaves out
- Ammo effects are fitted to community test numbers, not confirmed by the developers. Sources disagree, so treat AP and hollow point results as estimates.
- Armor at full durability. Damaged armor blocks less until it breaks.
- No damage drop over range.
- Zone multipliers are only fully known for assault rifles. Other classes are marked as estimates where we fill the gaps.
